Salem Hyde Art Exhibition at Syracuse Silver Knights Indoor Soccer Game

On Friday, February 3, 2017 Salem Hyde students participated in an art exhibition at the War Memorial in Syracuse during the Syracuse Silver Knights vs Milwaukee Wave indoor soccer game. The exhibition, including drawing, painting, printmaking and sculpture was on display in Memorial Hall.

Snowman puppets made by third and fourth graders as part of the Great Snowman Convention were included in the show.

Third graders created self-portrait collages inspired by the artwork of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo. These self-portraits depict student talents, hobbies and interests.

Pastel drawing of a rainforest frog by fifth grade student.
Fourth grade students created pastel drawings using value and shading based on the story, Snowmen at Night. These drawings were also part of the Great Snowman Convention.
